Bryan Schott is an award-winning journalist who started his career at age 13 at his hometown radio station delivering newscasts and hosting a weekly “polka hour.” He has worked in newsrooms in Denver, Oklahoma City and Salt Lake City. During that time he has been honored by the Radio, Television and Digital News Directors Association, Society of Professional Journalists and Public Radio News Directors International. He was named a RIAS Fellow in 2007 and was honored with an Edward R. Murrow Award in 2008.
He has covered politics in Utah for more than 15 years.
In his spare time, he is a soccer referee and dreams of becoming an amateur beekeeper.
He lives in Salt Lake City with his wife, two teenaged children and four dogs.
