As you may know, I like to spend some of my free time on the soccer pitch as a referee. One of our fellow refs needs some help, and I’m asking you to maybe throw a little support his way.
You might remember the story of the hiker who fell in Bell’s Canyon last year. That was one of our young referee’s Jay Hutchinson. Here’s the story to refresh your memory:
He’s really a great kid who suffered a tough break. I can’t imagine trying to go through this kind of ordeal as a young college student.
Jay had a bunch of surgeries on his pelvis, wrist and jaw. Some parts of his body needed to be reconstructed.
He’s out of the hospital now, but can’t really work.
If you could find it in your heart to throw some cash his way while he works to get back on the pitch, it would be great.
